0 How to Make Indonesian Fried Rice


Okay today I will tell you how to make fried rice. I will show you all of the ingredients and equipments we need. We can find fried rice in many country such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and many more. And in every country have a different receipt with another country. In this article, I will tell you how to make Indonesian Fried Rice. This is the Picture :)

The ingredients we need are:
  1.                 2 cups of long-grain rice
  2.                 2 tablespoons oil
  3.                 1 egg, lightly beaten
  4.                 5 shallots, peeled and sliced
  5.                 2 cloves garlic, peeled and sliced
  6.                 3 red chilies, sliced
  7.                 1 teaspoon dried shrimp paste
  8.                 1/2 teaspoon salt
  9.                 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
  10.                 sliced cucumbers (to garnish)
  11.                 sliced tomatoes (to garnish)
  12.                 8 ounces sliced chicken or pork
  13.                 1 cup shredded cabbage

And there are the equipments we need :
  1.                 A knife
  2.                 A plate
  3.                 A frying Pan
  4.                 A spatula
  5.                 A tea spoon

Okay, that’s all of the ingredients and equipments we need and then I will show you the direction to cook. There are:
  1.                  Boil a medium pot of salted water
  2.                  Stir in the rice and boil for 10 minutes (until done)
  3.                  Drain the rice and set aside to cool
  4.                  Use the egg to make a thin omelet; cool, then shred
  5.                  Heat the remaining oil in the wok and fry the shallots, garlic, chilies and shrimp paste until the shallots are tender
  6.                   Add the meat and the shredded cabbage, cook until meat is cooked through
  7.                   Increase the heat to high and add the rice, salt and soy sauce, adding a little oil if necessary,   stirring constantly until heated through
  8.                  Garnish with shredded egg, cucumber, and tomato
